They are just canvassers for political parties and do nothing for local people," he saidHe said the NRSA's proposal is expected to make local leaders more active and accountable. Interior Minister Gen Anupong Paojinda said the government is not blocking local leaders from expressing their opinions but it is urging them to do it in an appropriate manner.
